Welcome to the little island of unscented, all-natural skin products. The soap and skincare products are made by me, Elle, in small batches, from scratch. The soap and skincare products of GAVA SOAP™ are unscented, vegan, and 100% natural. All products are handcrafted, made with natural, high-quality ingredients, and produced from scratch in small batches using the traditional, old-fashion, cold-process method. In my handcrafted products, I use natural oils and butters such as Olive Oil Pure and Extra Virgin, Coconut, Cocoa, Laurel Berry Oil, Argan Oil, Shea Butter, and others. These oils people use for centuries, to moisture, soften, and nourish their skin.

Some people are afraid to use natural soap because it contains lye. It is not true. That’s like saying I do not eat bread because it contains yeast.

The formula of natural soap is: Oil + Lye = Soap + Glycerin. Lye or Sodium Hydroxide is used in natural soap making. Lye is used for oil saponification to create the soap. All soap makers use lye in soap. It’s a necessary ingredient in the process to turn oils into soap. It is the only way to make natural soap.

The final product, after air cure, contains no alkali/lye. Neutral pH 7 level of all GAVA SOAP™ soaps the result of proper formulation and prolonger air cure process, at least
2 months (normal air cure for cold-process soap is about 4 – 6 weeks).

GAVA SOAP™ products are formulated with pure, refined, deodorized, high-quality oils and butters, thus no coconut or cocoa, etc. smell.
